Workshops
In 2010 we hosted our first ever craft workshop at the Etsy headquarters in NYC. Since then we have developed a passion for teaching and inspiring others to embrace their creativity through community-based making. Studies have shown that engaging in creative workshops evokes a sense of solidarity and companionship and can give a sense of accomplishment, pride and satisfaction, which all impact positively on our mental health.

“As part of our Speaker Series aimed towards Sustainability in Fashion, we teamed up with the wonderful Kitiya Palaskas Studio to create an upcycling workshop from thrifted clothes and recycled crafts. Kit was an absolute delight from the word go and we would highly recommend collaborating with Kitiya Palaskas Studio for any event to add in a fun and creative element! Kit and her team hosted a 1 hour workshop to teach the students how they could recreate an item of clothing to give it life and love again. By utilising the provided 'craft buffet', students could sew, glue, cut or embroid patches whilst Kit assisted and inspired them. We cannot wait to work with Kitiya Palaskas Studio again!”
