Sustainability

Here at Kitiya Palaskas Studio, we collaborate with clients to create amazing design projects. But often, our clients wonder what to do with their fab handmade pieces after each campaign ends. Introducing our Loop-de-Loop Program - a way for us to work with our clients to close the loop on the design process and reduce our studio environmental footprint.

What is the Loop-de-Loop Program all about?

Loop-de-Loop is a program that captures our studio offcuts, by-products from the making process, samples, and finished pieces, and we gift our resources to local organisations around Melbourne who can give them new life.We work one-on-one with our clients to donate to a range of amazing Community Partners:

• Childcare centres, Kindergartens, Creches and schools

• Healthcare providers, hospitals and specialists

• Libraries

• Community organisations

• Neighbourhood houses

How does Loop-de-Loop work?

  • Opting-in to the Loop-de-Loop Program as a client allows your finished props, installation pieces, artworks and/or leftover materials to be donated after the campaign ends. We’ll arrange to collect these after the project has finished - at no cost to you!

  • We’ll find a new home for the donated items with one of our trusted Community Partners and deliver them at no cost to the partner!

  • Donated items enjoy a second life and purpose with their recipients, prolonging their lifespan and bringing joy to the community.

I’m a client, how do I get involved with the Loop-de-Loop Program?

We’re excited to work with you! Get in touch with us to discuss your upcoming project. If you choose to opt-in to the Loop-de-Loop program, we’ll provide you with all the info you need before the project begins. If you’re an existing client of ours, we’ll chat with you about this exciting opportunity next time we work together!
